Today’s meditation is:
Ten-Minute Time-Out
For Mastering the Art of Doing Nothing
We are so used to ‘doing’ that we can end up ‘doing meditation’, too. When meditating: We can try to relax. We can try to focus. We can try to be present. We can try to still our mind. We can try to feel peaceful. We can try to surrender and not control… Unintentionally, we can end up doing meditation to ‘be something’ and this is a trap.
It is not the goal of meditation to be a certain way or attain a specific state. To know thyself and get the best from meditation, it is therefore vital that you remember there is no space between you and you! There is ultimately nothing you need to do and nothing you need to be or become... in order to awaken to the exquisite ever-present inner being-ness that you already are.
